Midwives of New Jersey
The Midwives of New Jersey, founded and directed by Lisa Lederer, CNM, is a comprehensive midwifery practice started in 2010. They have offices in Hackettstown, Hoboken, and Madison, NJ.

Sage Midwifery
SAGE MIDWIFERY is run by Roxann Mitchell, CNM and Cindy Redmond, CNM who have worked with each other for over thirty years sharing a combined total of over 50 years of experience with laboring mothers. Hence the name, Sage Midwifery.

Moonlight Midwives
Moonlight Midwives, founded and directed by Kim Maher, CNM, is a comprehensive practice with the goal of supporting women on their life-cycle journey and dedicated to honoring client choice. Particularly when it comes to childbirth. Kim and her practice are proud partners of Our Birthing Center. Moonlight Midwives offices are located in Wayne, NJ.

Collective Midwifery
Collective Midwifery is based in Boonton, NJ and is run by Kasey DiVine, CNM and Holly Graff, CPM. They have decades of experience with both in and out of hospital birth. They offer compassionate, respectful care throughout the childbearing year and beyond. Services include well-person care, gynecology, contraception, pre-conception counseling, prenatal care, birth center birth, postpartum care and well newborn care.

Clinical Director: Donna Roosa, MS, CNM
As our Clinical Director, Donna is responsible for the direction, provision, and quality of clinical services provided to patients. Donna is the co-founder of Avalon Midwives, A highly successful comprehensive midwifery practice with offices in Morristown and West Caldwell. Donna has been practicing as a Midwife since 1991 and prior to that served as a Labor and Delivery Nurse.

Collaborating Physician - Dr. Lisa Meringer, MD
Dr. Meringer is a well known and highly regarded OB/GYN. She provides excellent, compassionate care. We had the honor of having Dr. Meringer deliver her own child at Our Birthing Center! Dr Meringer is part of the Axia OneCare team with offices in Morristown. We are excited to have her as a member of the OBC family.

Grace Rodgers – Nursing Staff Coordinator
As a daughter of a midwife, I have grown up believing in and advocating for natural, normal childbirth. I have worked as a labor and delivery nurse since 2012 caring for both low and high-risk mothers. I strongly believe in each woman’s right to informed, personalized care throughout pregnancy, childbirth and beyond, and count myself fortunate to help provide that kind of care at Our Birthing Center. My husband Tim and I have one daughter Winifred now 3, and newborn son Isaac, both born at Our Birthing Center in 2018 and 2021.

Bethann Anderson – Senior Nurse / Birth Educator
Bethann has been in the birth field for over eighteen years. From the moment she started her career she fell in love with the birth process and viewed it as a true miracle. She has been a Lamaze certified childbirth educator (LCCE) for almost ten years, is a certified birth doula (CD) through Doulas of North America (DONA), and is currently pursuing her certification as a HypnoBirthing® childbirth educator (HBCE).

I had the privilege of having the most amazing birthing experience during the birth of my daughters, now 19 and 16. Thanks to the care provided by my nurses and midwife and have always wanted to be that nurse! I decided to make a career change and switch from engineering to nursing. I have been a maternity nurse for the past 8 years, and enjoy working with families and newborns during the most magical time of their lives.

I have been an OB nurse since 2002, caring for families in antepartum and postpartum with the majority of my work in Labor and Delivery. I teach nursing students in the field on Childbearing. I have 4 children of my own, 3 of them were delivered naturally using the HypnoBirthing method. I breastfed all of my children and my work for my doctorate in nursing focused on disparities in breastfeeding care for women of color. I am thrilled to be part of the birth experience for moms and their families as they bring their little ones into the world.

When coming down Lindsley Drive, our facility is located in a large office building on the left side towards the end of the block. Enter the first driveway you see and drive towards the rear of the building. Our Birthing Center parking signs have been placed down the length of the parking lot to ensure you are headed in the right direction. Our Birthing Center has its own private entrance in the rear of the building with a large awning above it.
